This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how SpendByValues.com ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information obtained from users ("you" or "your") of the SpendByValues.com website and the Values Alignment Calculator (collectively, the "Service"). 3.1 Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated or de-identified data (information that does not identify you as an individual) with research partners, analytics providers, advertisers, or the public for research, marketing, and business purposes. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

3.2 Service Providers

When you receive a direct marketing communication from a specific partner based on your results, that communication will disclose the sponsor's identity.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests. We may also disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of SpendByValues.com, our users, or the public.

3.5 Business Transfers

• The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.

4.3 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia CDPA, Colorado CPA, and Connecticut CTDPA) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@spendbyvalues.com.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:

• Email addresses and calculator responses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications or for a period of three (3) years from your last interaction with the Service, whichever is later;
• Aggregated and de-identified data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes;
• Logs and technical data are typically retained for twelve (12) months.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time as described in Section 4. Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is required by law.

6. DATA SECURITY

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest where appropriate, access controls, and regular security assessments.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Service is not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers include a Do Not Track ("DNT") feature that signals to websites that you do not want your browsing activity tracked. Our Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will update this policy if our practices change in the future.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.
